This summer, the world will turn its attention to the FIFA World Cup 2026, the largest edition in history, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches, hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Fans in Vietnam will be able to follow the entire tournament across VTV’s platforms.

With our modern production and broadcasting system, along with extensive experience in delivering major sporting events, Vietnam Television is ready to bring audiences a complete Live the FIFA World Cup 2026 with VTV experience”.
According to FIFA, the tournament’s media rights have already been secured in 180 countries and territories. In Vietnam, VTV is the official broadcaster with comprehensive media rights for FIFA World Cup 2026, including television rights across terrestrial, cable, satellite, and IPTV platforms, as well as radio , mobile and internet (including social media platforms), and public screening rights.
On television, VTV will broadcast all 104 matches live, along with the opening and closing ceremonies, highlight packages, and nine companion programs across multiple time slots on various VTV channels, ensuring the highest broadcast quality.
On digital platforms, VTV will offer a multi-platform viewing experience, including live streaming, catch-up viewing, and on-demand video content, along with companion programs tailored for digital formats. Content will be distributed across internet platforms and mobile devices, and expanded through social media ecosystems in accordance with FIFA agreements.
In addition, VTV is the only entity in Vietnam holding public screening rights. This enables VTV to organize football-viewing events or authorize third parties to do so, including fan zones, restaurant screenings, and screenings at cinemas and other public venues. VTV is also planning a series of viewing events combined with live performances to meet the expectations of younger audiences.
