Eleven 2021 VTV Awards categories include:
1. Impressive Presenter: Being a TV anchor, hosting programs broadcast by VTV within the specified time.
2. Impressive artist: Being an artist, singer, TV presenter being an artist, music producer, guest participating in a TV show transmitted by VTV within the specified time.
3. Impressive Male Actors: Male actors playing roles in movies aired on VTV within the specified time.
4. Impressive Female Actors: Female actors playing roles in films aired on VTV within the specified time.
5. Impressive TV Series: TV series broadcast by VTV within the specified time.
6. Impressive documentaries: Documentaries aired by VTV in the specified time.
7. Impressive news and current images: The images are candid and convey messages, they should have a positive diffusion impact and which are transmitted on VTV within the specified time.
8. Impressive children's program:
- Children's programs broadcast on VTV within the specified time. The show must be the one designed for children from 1 to 16 years old.
- Programs that are broadcast daily, weekly or once every two weeks.
9. Impressive Cultural - Sports Program:
- Programs in the field of culture and sport broadcast on VTV at the specified time.
- Programs that are broadcast daily, weekly or once every two weeks.
10. Program entertainment program:
- Programs in the field of entertainment broadcast by VTV within the specified time.
- Programs that are broadcast daily, weekly or once every two weeks.
11. Program of the Year:
- Event programs, special programs broadcast on VTV within the specified time.
- Programs broadcast monthly, quarterly and annually.
And like previous years, the VTV Awards 2021 will have 2 voting phases, in which, phase 1 - without voting - will last from June 2 to August 2 with four rounds of nomination. The first one will take submissions from August 15, 2020 to May 31, 2021. The second one is from June 1 to June 14, 2021, the third one from June 15 to July 14, 2021 and the fourth from July 15 to July 31, 2021. After these four rounds of nomination, the Organizing Committee will meet and vote for the top 5 of the 11 categories.
Phase 2 - the stage of collecting votes from the audience (50%) and the Council of Experts (50%) - will open voting from 07:09 on August 5 to 07:09 on September 5, 2021.
