On Sunday morning, at the National Funeral Hall, number 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi, the Party Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly of Vietnam, the Acting State President, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a memorial service for the former Party General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Chairman of the Council of Ministers, and former adviser to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Do Muoi. A burial ceremony for the late Party General Secretary was also held later that afternoon in his hometown of Dong My Commune, Thanh Trì District in Hanoi.
