Vietnam’s stock market opens week with slight increase

VTV.vn - Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index edged up by a slight 0.09% on April 17 to end the first day of the week at 1.053,81 points as investors were cautious about business performance in the first quarter.

In Hanoi, HNX-Index fell 0.62 points to 206.63 points and UPCoM-Index dropped 0.31 points to 78.38 points.

The value of order matching on HoSE plunged by 44% from the previous session to 6,715 billion VND (286.8 million USD).
