The top 10 IT companies on the list are the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services One Member Limited Liability Company (MobiFone), FSI Technology Development and Trading Investment Joint Stock Company (FSI), FPT Corporation, TMA Solutions, Viettel Business Solutions, MISA Joint Stock Company, GMO-Z.com RUNSYSTEM, Vnext Software and DMSpro.
According to VINASA Chairman Truong Gia Binh, the IT firms on the list of ‘Vietnam’s 50+10 Leading IT Companies 2019’ posted total revenue of VND693.65 trillion in 2018 (approximately US$30 billion), accounting for 31% of the total revenue of the software, digital and IT service industry in 2018.
These leading IT companies have a total of over 184,000 workers, occupying nearly 20% of the total work force of Vietnam’s IT sector.
Binh said that the annual ‘Vietnam’s 50+10 Leading IT Companies’ programme aims to honour prestigious and outstanding firms in the IT sector.
The title is granted to enterprises in the three categories of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), IT Outsourcing (ITO) and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO); Software and IT Solutions and Services; and Digital Content, Applications and Solutions for Mobile Devices.
The 10 Prominent Companies with Technological Ability in Industry 4.0 were selected based on the criteria of finance, human resources, market and customers; technology and products; corporate governance; recognised achievements in production and business activities; engagement in social activities; and others.
