Nowadays in Vietnam, anew generation of designers and furniture boutiques is arising. Originally opened to service the expat community, over time, these boutiques have expanded to include Vietnamese features in their Western furniture designs to reach out to the local customers.
With their cross-cultural designs, furniture boutiques like this, despite their small scale, are apt to find success in Vietnam, as the interest in modern interior design is rising among Vietnamese youths, who are living in an era of global integration and cross-cultural interaction.
