This is the guideline of the Chairman of Ca Mau People's Committee. It's intended to prevent fishing vessels from operating illegally in foreign waters and to support the management of fishing operations and search and rescue missions at sea. Ca Mau province has set up a control center and has authorized the provincial border guards to manage it. Only fishing vessels equipped with a cruise control device are eligible to apply for safety certificate permits or renew them. In addition, specialized inspection forces will be intensifying their patrols and coordination with border guards to handle fishing vessels that deliberately turn off their cruise control equipment.
