VTV.vn - A cultural programme highlighting Vietnamese traditional attire took place at the Hoa Lu ancient capital historical and architectural site in Ninh Binh province on December 24.

Against the backdrop of the temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh, volunteers selected by the organising board paraded in traditional attires and posed in photos with visitors. They wore costumes dating back from the Dinh and Early Le dynasties, including those of King Dinh Tien Hoang, King Le Dai Hanh, Empress Dowager Duong Van Nga, soldiers, and servants.

The programme aimed to introduce traditional values to the public, especially young people, fostering a deeper understanding of the nation's history and culture.

It honoured the beauty of Vietnam's traditional attire, serving as an opportunity for researchers and fans of traditional costumes in Ninh Binh to share their passion and bring Vietnamese traditional attire closer to audiences at home and abroad.
