Statistics show that in the past 3 years, the number of children who died from injuries has decreased, with drowning deaths in particular having decreased by 3-5%, with an average decrease of 100 children per year.
The information was released from a conference on children’s work organised by the Department of Children under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in Hanoi on December 24.
