The event was attended by leaders of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia; representatives of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia; representatives of the RUPP Board of Directors; representatives of the Khmer-Vietnam Association; as well as students from Cambodia, Laos, and China.
In the joyful and warm atmosphere welcoming the new spring, Nguyen Minh Hoan, Head of the Vietnamese Student Delegation in Cambodia, said that most Vietnamese students had excellent and good academic achievements in the past year, obeyed local laws and school rules well, and helped each other to overcome difficulties in studying and living.
Additionally, students also actively responded and participated in movements and activities on education, culture, sports organised by the Embassy, the Khmer-Vietnam Association in Cambodia and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia, Minister Counsellor Ngo Van Tuat conveyed his best New Year wishes to the delegates, international guests, and Vietnamese students, along with the entire Board of Directors, teachers, and students of RUPP.

Praising the good academic achievements of students in the past year, the Minister Counsellor thanked the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Board of Directors, and the RUPP teachers for educating and training many generations of Vietnamese students over the past few decades, thus contributing to consolidating and strengthening the relationship of solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between the two countries in many fields.
Delegates and international guests attending the event of the Vietnamese students in Cambodia enjoyed folk songs and special dishes on the traditional Tet holiday of the Vietnamese people.
