After the first two weeks of 2016, the VN Index lost 36 points, equivalent to 6.22%. Similarly, the HNX Index on the northern bourse also closed this week / at 75.39 points, declining 5.8% compared to late 2015. Meanwhile, liquidity also fell 20% in Friday’s trading session. Both domestic and foreign investors kept selling stocks. The steady decline in the Vietnamese stock market in early 2016 / is attributed to investors’ pessimism about negative changes in stock exchanges throughout Asia.
