China and Thailand markets accounted for nearly 70% of Vietnam's fruit and vegetable import turnover. Specifically, in the first 2 months of 2017, Vietnam spent USD 82 million importing fruits and vegetables from Thailand, accounting for over 50% of Vietnam's fruit and vegetable import value. In this period, Vietnam spent USD 31 million importing fruits and vegetables from China, accounting for over 19% of Vietnam's fruit and vegetable import value.
