At the meeting, Prime Minister Dũng said the government would offer favourable conditions for a long-term co-operation. General Director Sergey said he was keen to strengthen the partnership with PetroVietnam, including expanding oil and gas exploration and exploitation activities in Vietnam and Russia. He also expected that the two countries would sign agreements to draft a legal framework for long-term co-operation between Zarubezneft and Vietsopetro in the coming time.
