At the meeting, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong stressed that Vietnam prioritizes the development of the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Indonesia, which was built by late President Ho Chi Minh and late Indonesian President Sukarno. The Vietnamese Party leader and the Indonesian host reiterated the need to boost cooperation on trade and finance, to raise bilateral trade turnover to 10 billion US dollars, and to create favorable conditions for businesses of the two countries.
