Vietnamese overseas celebrate year beginning in Hanoi

This morning in Hanoi, over 100 notable overseas Vietnamese who have come back from 23 countries and territories, participated in Spring in Home Country 2019. They offered incense at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bắc Sơn street and at the Thang Long imperial citadel. They expressed delight at the country's development and proposed several ideas about how overseas Vietnamese can contribute more easily to Vietnam. In the afternoon, the delegation will meet with Party and state leaders, and join the live program on channel VTV4 and VTV1 at 8 pm local time.
