Vietnamese mangoes enter South Korean supermarkets
VTV.vn - Vietnamese mangoes have officially entered supermarkets in South Korea, after over a year of negotiations.

The mangoes are exported by Cat Tuong Agricultural Processing Production Company Limited, directly to Emart of the Samsung corporation.

In order to enter the South Korean supermarket Emart, mangoes need to be certified as meeting food safety and hygiene standards and product traceability. The mangoes also need to be covered with a waterproof bag during planting, and go through preliminary processing and packaging. Currently, a kilogram of mangoes in Emart is 4.3 USD, which is double the domestic price.
