Vietnamese frigate to take part in International Fleet Review

This is the first time the Navy has sent a frigate to join an international fleet review. The  frigate is the first warship of Vietnam to cross the two large territorial waters of the Pacific and Indian Ocean. Notably, the event takes place as people nationwide are making achievements to welcome the 12th National Party Congress and the country’s traditional Lunar New Year, or Tet festival.

The visits will contribute to promoting relations between the Vietnam People’s Navy and participating navies at the event.
