Female director Nguyen Phuong Anh and producer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc managed to seal awards from the 2017 Asian Film Conference in Hong Kong.
Their production titled ' The Third Wife' won a prize from the Post-Production Fund and the 'Hong Kong Goes to Cannes' Award.
The picture had previously won many other international awards. The movie tells the story of a third wife having to live in a wealthy family from centuries ago.
