In Hanoi, on the morning of October 6, speaking at the press conference on the labour and employment situation in the third quarter of this year, Deputy Director General Nguyen Trung Tien said that in the third quarter of 2022, Vietnam's economy has achieved high growth results (13.67%), being one of the two countries achieving high growth rates around the world.
Import and export increased by 15.1%; business activities have regained growth momentum; the Government's economic recovery policy has been effective, contributing to the positive changes in the labour market for the third quarter and nine months of 2022.
Notably, the average income of employees in the third quarter of 2022 witnessed a strong growth rate, increasing by 0.1%, equivalent to an increase of about 1.6 million VND.
In the first nine months of 2022, the average income of employees reached 6.6 million VND, an increase of 12.4%, corresponding to an increase of 727,000 VND, compared to the same period in 2021.
