The delegation then offered incense to the Hung Kings to pray for national peace and prosperity. They then laid wreaths at the Hung Kings' mausoleum and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Den Gieng crossroad.
Other localities also held incense-burning ceremonies at temples dedicated to the Hung Kings. The ceremonies took place the same time with the main celebration in Phu Tho province.
