91% of Vietnamese people surveyed revealed that they consider starting a new business as a career milestone. The proportion of Vietnamese citizens optimistic about start-ups made up 95% of the survey's participants. This is higher than the world average, which is only 77%. According to the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam is currently home to 1,500 start-ups, more than both China and India. However, 80% of Vietnamese start-ups cease to operate after the first year. This could be justified by the lack of access to funding and regulatory challenges.
