Vietnam to produce 5-in-1 vaccine by 2020

This information was released at a workshop on Tuesday that was about vaccine research. It was organized by the Ministry of Public Health and Science and Technology.

The 5-in-1 vaccine is currently undergoing studies on animals. The Ministry of Health said that by 2020, Vietnam must ensure that it can produce 12 types of vaccines to provide for the country's expanding immunization program.

The biggest difficulties now are the lack of funding for clinical trials on humans and the development of production on a commercial scale.
