The National Television Festival is a major annual event in the television industry, providing an opportunity for professionals to network, learn, and exchange experiences while honoring outstanding works from Television Stations and Radio-Television Stations across the country.
The 42nd National Television Festival will take place in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province, opening on March 19, 2025, and concluding on March 22, 2025.
Overview of the training conference for organizing the 42nd National Television Festival.
To ensure the festival runs smoothly, on March 1, Vietnam Television, in partnership with Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station, organized training sessions to equip key teams—including the Judge Secretary, Delegate Secretary, Technical, Volunteer, and Logistics teams—with essential skills and procedures.

At the training conference, Vu Thi Nga, Deputy Director of Binh Dinh Radio-Television Station, said: "This year, for the first time, Binh Dinh has the honor of hosting the National Television Festival. This is a great opportunity for Binh Dinh to promote its land, people, and strengths in socio-economic development, as well as its scenic landscapes, historical and cultural landmarks, to both domestic and international friends".
She also emphasized that the festival would allow Binh Dinh Radio-Television Station to gain valuable experience in professional broadcasting operations and large-scale event organization for future provincial and industry events.

In preparation for the event, Binh Dinh Radio-Television Station has closely coordinated with the Program Department of Vietnam Television. As a result, the host unit is now fully prepared, with optimal equipment and personnel to ensure the festival's success.
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's festival has attracted over 700 entries from 95 participating units, with adjustments in the number of submissions for each category. Meticulous planning has been done to improve the judging process, especially for long-form productions.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Program Department of Vietnam Television (VTV), shared her experience in organizing the festival with the staff of Binh Dinh Radio-Television Station.

During the training sessions, the Judge Secretary team was instructed on how to use the scoring software and fulfilling their responsibilities in supporting the evaluation process. The Delegate Secretary team received hands-on training at the Information Center, learning how to manage the system and gather information from participating delegations.

The Technical team received equipment and assisted the Judge Secretary team to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, nearly 50 students from Quy Nhon Universitwere trained as volunteers for key tasks, including welcoming delegates and assisting with the opening and closing ceremonies.
Following lively and detailed discussions during the training, all teams gained a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities, equipping them with the skills necessary to support the delegates and judging panel throughout the festival.
As part of the preparations, the Vietnam Television delegation also conducted site visits to the festival venues, including Anya Premier Hotel Quy Nhon, which will host judging sessions, delegate receptions, and workshops.
