On the afternoon of March 10, the signing ceremony of the propaganda cooperation program between the SPP and VTV for the 2025-2026 period took place at the SPP headquarters and broadcast on the People's Procuratorate system.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Editor-in-Chief of the Bao Ve Phap Luat newspaper and Standing Deputy Head of the SPP's propaganda steering committee, presents the draft cooperation program on propaganda between the SPP and VTV.
Comrade Nguyen Huy Tien, Member of the Party Committee of Central Agencies, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Prosecutor General of the SPP, along with Comrade Nguyen Thanh Lam, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of Vietnam Television, attended and chaired the ceremony.
On behalf of VTV, the event was attended by Deputy General Directors Dinh Dac Vinh, Do Thanh Hai, Do Duc Hoang, and Le Quyen; as well as heads of VTV's affiliated units, including the Office, Program Department, News Department, Thematic and Educational Programs Department, Television Film Center, and Digital Content Production and Development Center.
Guests included leaders from the Press and Publishing Department, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, and representatives from the Press Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
The signing and implementation of the cooperation program between the SPP and VTV aim to establish an important mechanism and framework for regular, close, and effective collaboration in propaganda to serve the political missions of both agencies. The program will enhance the effectiveness of disseminating the Party's guidelines, policies, and state laws while ensuring accurate, timely, and practical information to support the political tasks of both units. This effort will help consolidate ideological unity within the Party, strengthen solidarity and consensus among the people, and maintain political and social stability.
The cooperation will focus on tasks such as promoting propaganda on the Party's policies and state laws related to the procuracy sector, disseminating information on procuratorial activities, crime prevention, and protection of citizens' legitimate rights and interests. It will also involve creating special television segments and programs that objectively and comprehensively reflect the activities of the SPP, supporting communication during major events in the procuracy sector, especially the 65th anniversary of the sector's establishment (July 26, 1960 - July 26, 2025), and conducting regular reviews and assessments to improve the effectiveness of propaganda efforts.

In his speech at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Huy Tien emphasized that propaganda and legal information dissemination play a crucial role in raising legal awareness, safeguarding justice, and building the rule of law. Recognizing this, the People's Procuracy sector has been actively instructing its branches to rigorously and effectively strengtheninformation dissemination throughout the system. He affirmed that over the past period, the media and press agencies, especially VTV, have closely supported and contributed to bringing legal knowledge closer to the public. The signing of this agreement marks an important step in deepening and expanding propaganda efforts, contributing significantly to building a strong SPP in the new era of national development.

At the event, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Lam affirmed that VTV has actively collaborated with the SPP in propaganda efforts. As the public's interest in legal information grows amid the rise of new types of crimes, VTV is committed to closely following the activities of relevant sectors in order to effectively fulfill its political communication duties assigned by the Party and State. VTV not only broadcasts on traditional channels but also makes use of multi-platform communication, such as the national digital platform VTVgo, which offers a diverse and rich data repository organized by content segments, allowing easy access and playback at any time. Through this cooperation agreement, VTV hopes to receive regular support from relevant units in accessing prosecutorial data in order to complete its legal and procuratorial information database.
