The fund-raising campaigns will last until the afternoon of May 14.
Organisations and individuals can send cash to the two associations’ headquarters or their respective bank accounts.
Earlier on April 28, the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association launched a fund-raising campaign to support those affected by the epidemic in Cambodia.
The association will continue receiving aid until the afternoon of May 7.
* On May 6, at the Cau Treo international border gate, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province, the Ha Tinh provincial Border Guard High Command handed over medical supplies worth VND200 million to the police and military forces of Borikhamxay and Khammuane provinces in Laos.
At the same ceremony, the leaders of the Ha Tinh provincial Border Guard High Command and the police and military forces of the two provinces of Borikhamxay and Khammuane also highly lauded the results of the COVID-19 epidemic prevention work, and agreed to continue to exchanging information on the situation and measures to prevent further spread of the epidemic.
