Vietnam succesfully produces seasonal and H5N1 flu vaccines

These two types of flu vaccines are expected to be licensed for circulation by next year. The successful production of these two types of flu vaccines will help Vietnam have more control over the vaccines’ sources, and be able to supply it to other countries if a pandemic occurs.

Efforts to develop seasonal and influenza A/H5N1 vaccines in Vietnam are beneficial to not only the local population, but also for the regional and global supply of vaccines in case of a pandemic.
