Vietnam-South Korean cartoon festival opens

The festival offers a chance for Vietnamese and Korean film producers to share experiences in promoting animated film abroad while discussing potential co-productions. At the opening ceremony, the organisers presented awards to winners of a short cartoon contest. The three best films will receive help and be further developed to take part in the Chuncheon International Cartoon festival this upcoming September in South Korea. There will be a string of activities including an exhibition, a seminar and film screenings during the four-day festival.
