Vietnam's UN peacekeeping contribution
VTV.vn - A training course for UN peacekeeping trainers was organised by the Vietnam Peacekeeping Centre, the UN, and the Ministry of Defence.

The course is aimed at improving training capacity for 23 Vietnamese trainers who conduct UN peacekeeping operations and takes place from October 24 to November 4.
Vietnam began participating in UN peacekeeping operations in 2014. So far, 12 Vietnamese soldiers have been sent to UN missions in South Sudan and Central Africa. Their contribution was acknowledged by the UN and Vietnam has proactively trained and purchased the necessary equipment to prepare for missions.
