At the conference, the Ministry of National Defence and several other agencies agreed to enhance their coordination in order to improve their counsel to the Party and the State when it comes to to defence and security. According to General Ngo Xuan Lich, Minister of National Defence, in recent years, defence diplomacy has been seen as achievement in implementing defence task which is why more cooperation among units and agencies related to diplomatic activities are needed.
This would contribute to maintaining a peaceful environment and stability for national construction and development.
