At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh stressed that Vietnam remained keen to enhance the comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia. The Vietnamese leader appreciated achievements in co-operation in many areas between the two countries, including security. He also agreed that the two sides needed to work closely in implementing the FTA between Vietnam and EURASIAN Economic Union
The two officials also agreed that all countries in the region should play active roles in maintaining peace and stability on the basis of international law.
