Vietnam pursues policies on climate change adaptation

This was the spirit conveyed by a representative of the Global Commission on Climate Change at a conference in Hanoi. The event, which took place yesterday, also served as an occasion to invite Vietnam to be the 19th member of the commission, side by side with the Netherlands, China, Germany, and India.

In April of this year, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, the initiator of the Global Commission on Adaptation, will pay a visit to Vietnam. Climate change adaptation is expected to be part of the discussions between the two countries.
