Seasonal and pandemic flu will no longer be a major concern in Vietnam. Each flu vaccine was tested on more than 1,000 people. The overall results show both vaccines are safe and capable of producing immune responses in healthy adults.
The vaccines are expected to be licensed by 2019 and production capacity is expected to be between 1 and 1.5 million doses per year. The vaccines cost about 80,000 - 100,000 VND / dose, only 1/3 or half the price of imported vaccines.
