Vietnam-Malaysia strategic partnership achieves significant progress

VTV.vn - The Deputy Prime Ministers of Vietnam and Malaysia applauded the tremendous progress achieved by Vietnam and Malaysia's strategic partnership during their talks in Hanoi on October 26.

At the talks, Vietnamese Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh said he believes that the visit of Malaysian Deputy PM Wan Azizah Wan Ismail will help further strengthen the two countries' relations and flourishing strategic partnership.

The two pledged to continue stepping up economic cooperation to bring two-way trade to US$15 billion and beyond by 2020 while underlining the need to promote more dialogues between the Government and businesses of both nations.

The diplomats affirmed their determination to remove obstacles and barriers and to create favorable conditions for businesses to seek investment and business opportunities, especially in new areas such as technological applications, the digital economy, clean energy, hi-tech agriculture, infrastructure construction, and logistics.
