The meeting was part of the sixth theoretical workshop between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) which had been organized to strengthen cooperation between the two countries’ parties.
The Vietnamese delegation expressed their sympathy regarding the recent dam collapse in Laos and offered support for a faster recovery. Both countries affirmed that cooperation will be strengthened in the future and that the relationship between Vietnam and Laos is still very important.
