The Vietnamese official spoke highly of the event’s historical meaning. Bounnhang Vorachith thanked the Vietnamese government for sending a high ranking official panel led by Lê Hồng Anh to Laos to attend the anniversary.
Speaking of national events, the two leaders shared with each other the preparation work for their respective party congresses. They also welcomed the efforts made by both countries in promoting their comprehensive partnership. At the end of the meeting, Lê Hồng Anh and Bounnhang Vorachith witnessed the signing of a 30 million US dollar credit agreement between the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam and Lao Ministry of Finance.
