The country programme serves as a cooperation framework for the ILO and Vietnamese partners to ensure decent and sustainable work for all Vietnamese people by 2026, especially those at risk of being left behind economically.
The scheme will contribute and benefit equitably from the sustainable, inclusive, and gender-responsive economic transformation based on innovation, entrepreneurship, enhanced productivity, competitiveness, and decent work.
It also seeks to ensure that people will benefit from inclusive, gender-responsive, disability-sensitive, equitable, affordable, and quality social services and social protection systems; it allows people to move further out of poverty; and be empowered to reach their full potential.
