The country's gross domestic product for the six months rose 5.73%. In the second quarter, the country's GDP rose 6.17 percent, higher than the 5.1 percent posted in the Q1. The agro-forestry-fishery sector has the biggest growth of 5.08% over the same period of last year. To achieve the annual target of GDP growth of 6.7%, Vietnam would need to hit GDP growth in the last 6 month of 7.4%.
