According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), seafood is one of Vietnam's main export products to the Middle East. Tra fish, shrimp, canned sardines and dried fish are some of the country's key export products. The Middle East has a huge demand for seafood and laxer quality standards compared to the EU, the US, and Japan.
