A workshop on Vietnam attracted many scholars and researchers of Vietnamese and Oriental studies as well as many other MGIMO alumni. The workshop was a highlight of the Vietnam Day programme of events, which was jointly held by MGIMO University’s ASEAN Centre and its Vietnam Student Association.
The most impressive part of the event was the show performed by the Russian students, which paid tribute to the Vietnamese "ao dai" and the country’s unique folk dances. As a result of the various activities for Vietnam Day in MGIMO, international students from all countries formed tighter bonds with each other.
