The event was organized by the Association of Vietnamese Communities in South Korea under the auspices of the Embassy of Vietnam in South Korea. Mayor of Seoul Park Won-soon, Vietnamese Ambassador to South Korea Nguyễn Vũ Tú, and over 8,000 Vietnamese people living in South Korea attended the festival.
Currently, there are about 180,000 Vietnamese people living in South Korea and over 60,000 Vietnamese - South Korean families.
