VTV.vn - Vietnam has welcomed back several fishermen following recent incidents at sea with China and Thailand. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has held a conference to address this.

Foreign Affairs spokesperson Le Hai Binh stated that Vietnam had requested that China adequately and fairly compensate Vietnamese fishermen for the damage caused while deliberately ramming and sinking Vietnamese fishing boats. Vietnam strongly condemns the acts of endangering human lives and abandoning these fishermen. Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had also met with the Thai Embassy in Hanoi to express Vietnam’s concerns over the Royal Thai Navy’s aggressive approach with Vietnamese fishermen.
