Vietnam, Cambodia cooperate in telecommunication

VTV.vn - As part of his visit to Cambodia, Vietnam's Minister of Information and Communications, Truong Minh Tuan, had a meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hunsen.

During the talks, Hunsen expressed the hope that Vietnam and Cambodia can boost cooperation in the sectors of information and communication.

He also praised Vietnamese businesses investing in Cambodia, which he states have also contributed to social affairs alongside carrying out their business. The Cambodian State leader hopes the two sides will work together to resolve issues within the TV and radio broadcasting bands in the country, as well as join hands in maintaining consistency in the information broadcasts in both countries so as to enhance the traditional relations between the two nations. For his part, Minister Truong Minh Tuan thanked Prime Minister Hunsen for creating favourable conditions and supporting bilateral cooperation in information and communications. During this trip, the two sides signed four cooperation packages in these fields, as well as a cooperation agreement between Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Telecom Cambodia.
