These projects are operated on property that contain beautiful beaches. Many people think those inactive projects should be withdrawn and the beautiful beaches preserved and protected for the benefit of the local people and visitors.
Da Nang has many geographical advantages including beautiful beaches and natural resources. This city has also attracted many investment projects, located around Son Tra Peninsula. However, many projects have been inactive during the past 10 years. However, the property covered by those inactive projects is still not clear.
Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, tourist said: "I'm from Phan Thiet. I think the beaches in Da Nang are very beautiful, especially in a bay like this. I want to visit them more, but I see barriers set up around the beaches. Maybe those are from current projects being implemented there".
Tourists visiting Da Nang can now only view beautiful beaches like Bãi Bụt and Bãi Rạng from a distance because those beaches are currently under the protection of current projects implemented in Da Nang.
Nguyen Ba Truc, resident of Da Nang City said: "Bai But is a tourist attraction. However, these stagnant projects have created obstacles for both local people and tourists to enjoy this beautiful beach. I hope the Da Nang authorities will withdraw these ineffective projects".
Projects in Son Tra Peninsula that have been stagnant for the past 10 years should be withdrawn. Beautiful natural sites should be preserved and protected for the benefit of local people and visitors.
