The ceremony was hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications and attended by eleven cloud computing companies and Vietnam Data Centre. The campaign is aimed at building an ecosystem of cloud computing firms to provide cloud infrastructure and services meeting world standards.
This will support the digital transformation of Vietnamese companies and help them recover after COVID-19. Cloud computing firms pledged a 20% discount to all services.
At the event, the Authority of Information Security published three evaluation criteria for cloud computing firms. They will be assessed based on whether they have mastered the technology, developed large-scale infrastructure, and are ready to supply. So far, four companies have met all criteria.
