The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Co-operation co-hosted the event. South Africa is currently Vietnam’s biggest trade partner in Africa, accounting for nearly 20% of total export turnover between Vietnam and Africa.
Vietnam’s main exported products to South Africa include agricultural products such as rice and cashew nuts. Vietnam’s Lam Dong Province produces tea, coffee and vegetables which are popular in South Africa, with the workshop providing an ideal arena for firms from the province seek for trade partnership with companies from South Africa./.
