VTV.vn - The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia have shared, exchanged, and learned from experiences in formulating and implementing laws and policies.

The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia held the Vietnam-Cambodia Senior Labour Officials Conference in Hanoi on April 4.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Ba Hoan affirmed that, on the basis of the friendly cooperative relationship and solidarity between the two countries, cooperation activities between the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia are becoming increasingly practical.

The Vietnamese Deputy Minister said that the two ministries have shared, exchanged, and learned from experiences in formulating and implementing laws and policies on labour, vocational education and human resource development.

The two ministries also jointly supported the views and initiatives of the two countries in the Mekong Sub-region mechanism, in ASEAN, and around the world.

At the conference, the delegations of the two ministries exchanged, discussed and shared policies and laws as well as the national priorities on labour and vocational training of the two countries.

At the same time, they also reviewed and finalised the contents of the Action Plan to implement the memorandum of understanding and joint statement from the Vietnam-Cambodia Ministers of Labour Conference, which will be submitted to the two ministers for approval on April 5.
