Vietnam has actively participated in and put forward many cooperation initiatives. The country proposed and successfully organized the first World Economic Forum on the Mekong Region in Hanoi two years ago. Last year, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and President of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Vietnam and the WEF on developing Vietnam's sustainable economy. Vietnam was the first country to sign the cooperative deal in the form of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) in the hope that it would be a model for cooperation with other countries.
