Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said the exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the diversity of products in construction, building materials, property and interior/exterior decoration.
For his part, Hanoi Vice Chairman Duong Duc Tuan said the construction sector has made an important contribution to the capital city’s growth and modernisation.
He added that the Vietbuild exhibition would facilitate the development of the property sector, connect supply and demand and promote cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises.
The first edition of Vietbuild Hanoi 2023 features over 1,500 booths displaying new products and advanced technologies in the construction sector.
As part of the event, which runs until March 19, there will be a workshop on low-carbon building materials and housing as well as a business forum and customer conference.
