As a special gift for International Children's Day, Sparkling Summer – Competing Notes of Melody was a thoughtfully crafted production by Vietnam Television. Developed by the Department of Culture and Entertainment, the program blended artistic creativity with meaningful storytelling, aiming to spark imagination, nurture the soul, and encourage creativity in every child. It conveyed the idea that each child is a unique musical note that deserves the chance to learn, play, and grow to their fullest potential, ultimately coming together to create the most beautiful symphony.

Singer Duc Phuc opens the show with a vibrant performance of Wonderful Summer (composed by Tang Duy Tan), joined by the StarLab Choir and young dancers. Together, they ignite the stage with excitement.

Concerned about making the most of his summer, “Bookworm” Duc Phuc comes up with a bold idea: organizing a “Musical Talent” competition where children can both learn and play.
The judging panel, featuring Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Quang Thang, and Le Bong, kicked off the competition with the playful performance Do Re Mi (composed by Luu Ha An), accompanied by a children’s choir and dance ensemble.
The three judges Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Quang Thang, and Le Bong surprise the studio audience with gifts, creating an atmosphere of excitement and warmth.
Khanh Vy, in the role of Note Do, confidently led the StarLab Choir in the cappella piece Smiles (Russian music with Vietnamese lyrics by Pham Tuyen), setting the tone for the contestant showcase.
Duy Nam, as Note Re, energized the audience by conducting the V-Symphonic Band in a lively performance of Beethoven Virus – The Magic Flute, featuring impressive musical talent from young singers.
After the performance, Note Do Khanh Vy and Note Re Duy Nam engage in a humorous debate about the importance of their respective musical notes, bringing lots of laughter to the audience.
Singer Xe Xe performs Cool Kid (lyrics by Double2T, music by Pham Tuyen), while young artist Thien Lam amazes the crowd by painting a "sparkling summer" live on stage with both hands.
