Venus Shoots Mars' Heart tells the story of three close friends - Yen, Trang and Dao - each with a different personality. Each of them has a unique married life. What they have in common is the difficulty in protecting their family's happiness, the women's strict attitude towards their husbands, but very magnanimous towards other people's husbands. The movie by director Bui Quoc Viet is interesting from the very name.
"Throughout the movie there are encounters between couples. But their love and having children comes with a price: family responsibilities. Families are there for each other to forgive and love each other no matter what, even if they face disagreements and obstacles while trying to make ends meet," said director Bui Quoc Viet.
The film shows the innocence of the working class, including kindergarten teachers, nail workers and freight forwarders, said director Bui Quoc Viet, adding, "The characters will be able to identify with the audience's lives".
Venus Shoots Mars' Heart is scheduled to air every Thursday and Friday at 21:40 on VTV3 starting June 27.
